What do I need to bring to class?

Just a smile! Feel free to bring a pen and paper for notes.

What should I wear to class?

Wear something comfortable. During class we will be doing skills practice, some of which is done on the floor. So ladies may want to think twice about wearing a skirt to class!

How long does class last?

That all depends on the class. We have heard horror stories about CPR classes that are 8+ hours. NO THANKS! CPR and AED class takes approximately 3 hours. First Aid training will last about an hour. Bloodborne Pathogens take about an hour as well.

How long does my certification last?

All our certification will be valid for a 2 year period.

When will I receive my card?

At this time we are unable to provide same day card processing. Normally turnaround time is 5-7 business days before you receive your card in the mail. We can, and will, issue a letter of completion verifying you have successfully completed your training and are certified, but are waiting for the card to be processed. There is no fee for this service

How do I pay for the class?

Currently we accept payment via PayPal, cash, and check. For those who wish to write personal check, your CPR card will not be mailed out until your payment is deposited and is processed with our bank.

If I misplaced or lost my existing card. Do I have to take the class again?

Not at all. We can issue you a replacement card for a $12 fee.

How many people are required in order to get on-site training?

is no minimum amount of people. Some customers prefer to have one-on-one instruction in the comfort of their own home with friends or family. We will accommodate groups of any size. Although we offer discounts for larger groups. Contact us for a quote!

Are your classes AHA(American Heart Association) certified?

Yes, we are certified BLS instructors and teach all the guidelines set forth by AHA. Your certificate will come from them specifically.

If I can’t make it to my scheduled class, will I be allowed to reschedule?

Absolutely! We will work with you to make sure you get the training you need in a timely manner. You are allowed to reschedule your class one time without being subject to any fees. Just make sure you call prior to class so you are not considered a no-call/no-show.

Are there any materials I have to purchase before class?

If you are taking the AHA BLS providers course you will need to have a CURRENT handbook to participate in the class. It is their requirement. If you need to purchase one you can find them under the “Products” menu option on our site. They are $15.
